Established in 1981 when it was known as Madison Community Health Center, Access Community Health Centers today serves over 13,500 Dane County residents in 4 clinics with over 90,000 medical, dental and behavioral health visits expected to be provided this year.  Patients come from every community in Dane County and almost all of them live in poverty.
 
The Chief Executive Officer plays the leadership role in establishing sound strategic and financial goals that address the growing competitive environment of the healthcare services agencies; in providing the vision to address future challenges and opportunities including managing the continued growth of the organization; in fostering a supportive organizational climate that builds staff competencies and supports innovation; and by representing the organization as the key spokesperson.

We seek a proven leader whose record of accomplishments in the healthcare sector is demonstrated by a clear ability to balance the mission of high-quality, compassionate care with the goals of strategic growth and financial sustainability. The qualified candidate will be able to articulate his or her knowledge of the healthcare field in terms of its economic complexities, healthcare reform, funding opportunities, quality improvement, regulatory issues and community partnerships that relate to the purpose and activities of ACHC. This person would ideally show the ability to identify growth opportunities through the analysis and interpretation of data and knowledge derived from proven business models.
